Outer Banks, NC: Wedding Vendors

Three years ago (June 20th, 2008), my husband and I were married on the beach in Outer Banks, North Carolina. My family has vacationed there for years so it was a very special place for my husband and I to have our wedding. We rented a house right on the beach for the week of the wedding to celebrate with our family and friends all week long!

Here are a couple vendors that made our day so special and I would recommend for any OBX wedding:

When we went to meet with Rev. Jay Bowman in February 2008, he made us feel comfortable from the start. He is the sweetest, most down to earth man you will ever meet! He made our wedding ceremony so perfect and I would recommend him to any couple getting married in Outer Banks, NC.

Jeannie Cubin from A Photo Moment was a photographer and she was amazing! I didn't want too make posed photographers so she did a great mix of candid shots with some posed. She was very reasonable for pricing and efficient with getting the photos back to me quickly after our wedding.

Our wedding cake was from Great Cakes of the Outer Banks. Marsha makes a key lime bliss cake to die for! We still talk about how unique and delicious our cake was at our wedding.

We worked with Chef Bo Perkins at the Carolina Catering Company to create a menu of our favorite appetizers including mini crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops and jerk chicken wings. They did an amazing job with everything!

All the wine and beer was delivered to the house at the beginning of the week by Chip's Wine and Beer Market. His store is famous for having their "Wall of Beer" that you can create your own six pack. It is a must when you visit OBX!

All our rentals came from Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals. They made it easy for us by delivering everything early so we could use it for the rehearsal. All of their items were high quality!

I could not have found all my amazing wedding vendors without the help of the Outer Banks Wedding Association website. The site is a great resource for planning any event in Outer Banks, NC!

Hope you enjoyed this post! My husband and I had a great 3 year anniversary earlier this week and we are off to OBX for our beach vacation soon, can't wait!
