Bird-Inspired Baby Showers
Recently featured on Celebrations at Home as a “Pink Birdie Baby Shower”, this theme is perfect for a boy, girl or unknown themed baby shower. The theme and printables created by Frog Prince Paperie are very reasonably priced for a baby shower event ($30 for the collection on Etsy!). The light, shabby-chic design can be incorporated into any home or venue very easily with décor in pastels of blue, pink, yellow or green. The vintage bird cages and glittery birds give the event some style without going overboard on the bird-theme.
Another bird-themed baby shower was featured on Hostess with the Mostess recently by A Modern Proposal Event Planning. This shower theme was a little different because it went with bright yellows and shades of gray instead of the traditional pink or blue. A more modern style of event and décor but still the same type theme, this example shows how you can take a theme and change it to reflect your event.

“Anthropology Owl Baby Shower”: Hostess with the MostessFabulous & Glamorous Baby Showers
For those Moms-to-Be that are a little more glamorous, I’ve seen several fancier baby showers featured lately. A “Rustic Glam” baby shower was recently featured on Hostess with the Mostess which featured a Hot Cocoa Bar and an array of gorgeous signs and desserts. Katie Grace Designs did a great job of keeping this “Glam” shower not too girly since it was a boy on the way.
Another favorite of mine on Hostess with the Mostess is the Coco Chanel Inspired Baby Shower by Blair Britt Weddings and Events. This is for any fabulous moms that love their feminine style and of course, perfume! Gorgeous details from the favors to the mix-your-own-No. 5 make the event glamorous but not over the top.

Animal Themed Baby Showers
On Anders Ruff, they recently featured a “Monkey-ing Around” Baby Shower sent in by one of their talented clients. The fabulous printables designed by Anders Ruff really made this theme stand out with the favors, desserts and other elements. Very cute theme idea for a baby boy or girl!
Also, love the idea of taking a traditional theme like “rubber duckies” or “elephants” and make it more modern as Hostess with the Mostess suggests with these two posts:
