Some of these items may not apply to your event or may fall into other categories but it will at least be a good starting point for planning your event. Or you may have a lot more items to add if you are planning a wedding. But by organizing your thoughts into "Big Picture" items, you can stay focused and not get off track on small details. I have used this type of template for planning bachelorette parties, baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, dinner parties and all types of other events.
Once you have these items planned out, you can start on the details of the event which can vary depending on the type you are hosting. Great resources for planning events include Martha Stewart Wedding's Planning Tools http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/ (Completely FREE!) and The Knot's Planning Website http://www.theknot.com/ which is also Free when you subscribe.
Planning can save you a lot of money and time so get started....Need help? Send an email to classiceventsbykris@gmail.com for customized templates for every event!
